'U R ENOUGH' Poem
Louisa Panucci (2023)
Micro Ball Pen (Black), Lyra Germany Aqua Brushes (pastel tones), 148×210mm (A5) fine grain, heavy weight paper, laminated
*Reads: I haven’t written in a while, because the sun feels like rain and whenever I try and see the light, it always seems to fade. I was thinking of rubbing this poem out, in fear of looking silly, but I think that I might keep it up, even when the world feels chilly. I have to believe I am worthy, even when I make choices unthought. For how am I meant to live my life if I never let myself fall short? I’ll work within my parameters, and push an artificial love - and when it feels real, I’ll jump up and squeal, saying, “Look, world, I am enough!!!”
